The Cost of Skipping Children

Today, I just invite you to read this quote from my friend John Stonestreet, the president of the Colson Center. Think about it. Then read it again.

Is the way we interact with children supported by this statement? If I asked them, would they agree with your answer. Any changes to make?

“Children aren’t a bucket list item, like paragliding or visiting Paris. It’s an others-centered way of living—a radical statement of hope for the future—a declaration that you and I are not the center of the universe, and that the here and now is not the only thing that matters.”
