With Memorial Day on my mind, I’ve been thinking about how we remember our heroes. How do I? How do you? How do your friends?
Maybe the first question should be, how do we decide who our heroes are? How do I? How do you? How do your friends?
Joseph Campbell says,
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.”
Do you agree? Why or why not? How would you define “hero”? Ask someone else and compare definitions. Then remember them.
