Every Friday, I’ll post thought provoking discussion starters.
If we reflect on gratitude between now and Thanksgiving day, maybe the day will mean more to us. Can you imagine what we and the world would be like if we were truly grateful each day and expressed it when we felt it?
I love how Melody Beattie expresses the value of gratitude:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Do you agree? Can you provide evidence from your life?
