Dear Friends of Celebrate Kids,

If you had told a much younger Kathy Koch that her ministry would be celebrating its largest impact ever in the 35th year, she probably would’ve smiled and said, “It’s because of God and He is good!” Yes, here we are because God is faithful, and you have stood with us.

This year, Celebrate Kids reached more parents, pastors, teachers, and young people in schools, churches, and conventions than ever before. We’ve personally equipped over 10,000 leaders who influence more than 100,000 kids, helping them see themselves as God sees them: deeply loved, purposefully made, and called to follow Jesus.

And we’re just getting started.

Two new books in our resource library mark this wonderful year:

· Raising Gender-Confident Kids, co-written with Dr. Jeff Myers, gives parents courage and clarity to raise sons and daughters grounded in truth and grace.

· Finding Peace and Hope with Adult Children offers practical wisdom to help parents navigate new seasons with peace and purpose.

Looking ahead, 2026 brings our next major project, Evangelism and Discipleship That Works: How to Share the Gospel and Develop Faith in Ways People Naturally Learn and Grow. It helps readers share the Gospel through the lens of the 8 Great Smarts and the Five Core Needs, guiding parents and leaders in connecting with kids the way God designed them. We’re excited to be writing this one together. And, of course, Dr. Kathy will continue to speak, and we’ll continue podcasting.

Moody Publishers has also invited us to write one book each year for the next five years, continuing to strengthen families and deepen faith.

Even more exciting, Dr. Kathy is being invited to consult in a number of fields including with the Association of Christian Counselors as the Teen Mental Health expert. In addition to being on their speaking roster to encourage counselors at conventions, Dr. Kathy is giving her time to encourage and guide counselors, leading a cohort specifically centered on teen mental health.

With all this, God is providing a future for Celebrate Kids and the important perspectives and teachings of Dr. Kathy. Wayne Stender is being trained and discipled to teach and consult as Dr. Kathy does, ensuring our messages endure. He recently completed his Master’s in Pastoral Counseling and will begin doctoral work where he plans to research and study Dr. Kathy’s approach in greater detail with his thesis. He’s preparing to extend Dr. Kathy’s ministry for generations to come. He and Kathy make a powerful team!
